Obviously I never come up here....opps....Made it through last season and all of it's special drama.  Trying to get into this season.  When I have a bit more time, I'll blog here later this week.

Ack! It's that tme of year.  The start of season.  Looking forward to playing with people from Guild again.  Have had an excellent time off this season; recuping my own energy and getting prepared for new stuff.  New dress, new encampment (since all of our crap was stolen), new faces, new sites to complain about the heat at.....

Looking forward to the "ease" of our first event in the little Gold Rush town of Murphys.  Great little place; if you can't make it this weekend (when we break fire codes for too many people in town), then go up some other time.  The Gold Rush towns are awesome in that little area.  It might not be this history, but it is that of our state and a very exciting time. 

No pavilions to set up...just putting up a few banners...playing with the crowds...delighting in all the little girls who LOVE noble's clothes (it's fun to be asked if you're a princess by little girls dressed as Snow White )...a dyed green river...more beer than you can shake a stick at...

I'll post next week, after the event and let anyone crazy enough to discover I'm blogging read my thoughts on our first event.  It should be fun in a myriad of ways....
